FoodSafety.gov is the gateway to food safety information provided by government agencies. The federal government enhances www.foodsafety.gov to better communicate information to the public and include an improved individual alert system allowing consumers to receive food safety information as they need it.

The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) at the U.S. Department of Food and Agriculture is committed to providing the public with correct information and labeling on all meat, poultry and egg products produced in the United States. This resource is a public portal to all information and other resources from the FSIS.
